Thermostat
Our home has a single thermostat (located in kitchen on interior wall) to control forced air heat. It's typically left on "heat" mode during winter months. Just set the display to your comfort range. From Home Screen, move "slider" up or down to set to desired temperature. Some guests are intimidated by the digital thermostat... If that's the case, don't worry - you're not alone. If you need help setting a comfortable temperature, let us know. We can set it for you remotely.
Sensors
There are three motion+temperature sensors strategically placed in the home. One in living room near cold air return, upstairs master bedroom on top of tall mirror and another in basement "bar" area.
With these sensors, thermostat is aware of which rooms are occupied and controls air flow accordingly.
If motion sensors make you uneasy - simply turn to face the wall instead of into the room. We'll turn them back around for the next guest.
